Dr. Ida Alul is a managing partner at Infocus Eye Care. Dr Alul specializes in advanced vision correction techniques, including Cataract, LASIK, and eyelid surgery. Dr. Alul received her medical degree from University of Missouri in 1988, where she was given the distinction of joining Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA), the prestigious national medical school honor society. She completed her ophthalmology training at University of Minnesota in 1992. She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Association of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, and the Oregon Academy of Ophthalmology. Dr. Alul has been in practice in Bend, Oregon since 2001. Prior she practiced at the Kruger Eye Clinic in Seattle, Washington for 8 years.
Dr. Alul is married to Dr. Ed Boyle, a cardiothoracic surgeon and entrepreneur, and has 2 children. She enjoys cooking and reading, and with her family frequently enjoys the best of the Oregon outdoor activities including skiing, hiking and bicycling
