For the safety of our patients, staff and providers – the following
steps are taken throughout each day at Infocus Eye Care
Everyone in our clinic space is required to wear a face mask
- Masks are available if someone does not have one. Due to supply limits, we ask that patients bring their own.
Staff must confirm each day upon arrival that they are symptom free and have not had any potential exposure since they were here last.
Hand sanitizer is located throughout the office for easy access/use.
Social distancing is applied as much as possible throughout our clinic. As an essential medical clinic, this is not always possible due to the nature of a medical exam.
Patients are asked to notify us of their arrival before walking in to Check In for their appointment. We ask that ONLY the patient come into the clinic.
Number of patients in the lobby is limited to 8, 4 chairs available outside the main door entrance.
Staff and Providers sanitize their hands between patients with either soap & water or hand sanitizer. Based upon exam, they will sanitize more frequently as needed.
Between patients, the exam rooms are sanitized by wiping down all surface areas that patient came in contact with during their visit. - This more often than not is done by another staff person than the one in your exam to maintain protocol and keep Waiting Time to a minimum.
Pens and clipboards used by patients are sanitized between patients.
Optical department is sanitized between patients.
- Any frames that are tried on are set aside and sanitized before putting them back on the frame display boards. Optical desk surface is wiped down between patients.
- Optical services beyond a patient having an appt for an exam, are by appt only so that we can maintain social distancing
