In addition to performing comprehensive eye exams, our physicians perform a wide array of eye-related surgeries, including cataract surgery, eyelid surgery, and LASIK surgery.
Our optometric physician, Dr. Winter Lewis, not only performs comprehensive eye exams but also manages diseases of the eye including glaucoma, dry eye, diabetic management, and macular degeneration. Dr. Lewis has had the unique experience of being a Principal Investigator on two FDA phase III dry eye studies. His research experience has fostered a commitment to providing a tailored treatment regimen for dry eye based on each individuals unique set of symptoms.
In addition, Dr. Lewis performs refractions and prescribes eyeglasses, as well as contact lens prescriptions. Our philosophy on prescribing glasses and contact lenses is to prescribe a tool that meets the individuals own visual environment. Not everyone sees the world the same way.
